Habitat Team Advanced to Top 6 and Won Outstanding Prize at 2022 Bank of China Trophy One Million Dollar Macao Regional Entrepreneurship Competition

[Macao News] Habitat, founded by Chao‑Wong On, formed a joint team with core members Zhang Xin Yu, CHEN BEIZHANG, PUI SIN TAT, together with Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and AKA ROBOTICS. The team advanced to the Top 6 and was awarded the Outstanding Prize in the 2022 Bank of China Trophy One Million Dollar Macao Regional Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by Institute of Collaborative Innovation, University of Macau.

This landmark Macau entrepreneurship competition attracted 71 participating teams covering biomedicine, smart‑technology, robotics, fin‑tech and other sectors. After multiple rounds of defense and roadshow, our team made it to the final Top 6 shortlist. The result represents high recognition from judges for our cross‑border industry‑academia‑research project, including its technical roadmap, commercial feasibility and practical value for the Greater Bay Area.

Combining cutting‑edge research achievements from SIAT‑CAS and industrial‑robotics industrialisation experience from AKA ROBOTICS, our project focuses on smart‑city and intelligent‑equipment solutions addressing real‑world pain‑points within the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area. The official certificate was issued on 05 May 2022 by the Institute of Collaborative Innovation, University of Macau.

This honour acknowledges Habitat’s cross‑regional R&D collaboration model. Moving forward, Habitat will continue to deepen partnerships with research institutes and industrial partners, translate leading‑edge technologies into market‑ready products & services, and contribute to technological‑innovation development for Macao and the Greater Bay Area.

是次中銀盃百萬創業大賽為澳門標桿級創新創業賽事，全賽共計71支團隊報名參賽，涵蓋生物醫藥、智慧科技、機器人、金融科技等多元領域。本團隊歷經多輪答辯與路演，成功突圍躋身六強，充分印證評審對跨地域產研協同項目之技術路線、商業落地可行性、大灣區場景應用價值的高度認可。

參賽項目立足澳門，聯動深圳科研與產業力量，融合中科院深圳先進院前沿科研積澱，搭配行知行機器人在特種機器人、智慧裝備的產業化經驗，聚焦智慧城市、智慧裝備領域，針對粵港澳大灣區城市實際痛點，打造可落地的產學研協同解決方案。本項榮譽證書由澳門大學協同創新研究院簽發，簽署日期為2022年5月5日。
